Brit establishes new property investors team

International general insurance and reinsurance group Brit Insurance has announced the establishment of a new team dedicated to providing property investors with insurance.
Kevin Simmons has been named as the team leader and his team will consist of underwriters from Brit’s present operations in London and the wider country.
Simmons brings three decades of insurance experience to his new position, prior to which he worked for Zurich Insurance as head of Real Estate.
Brit Insurance UK Chief Executive Officer Ray Cox said that there were significant opportunities for the firm to grow beyond its existing property portfolio.
Cox welcomed Simmons’ appointment and praised his considerable experience and impressive track record.
